A few years ago, I wanted to make a cross-shaped cake for the church Easter brunch.

This year I didn't buy any Easter candy. I think it will be the first year I didn't. I always had my Peeps and speckled malt balls. Doctor days "pre-diabetic", so I thought twice.

This year I made a huge Easter basket for the three of us, stacked high with candy. The next morning my son and I were feeling sick from eating too much, so I handed it to my husband on the way out the door to his volunteer job at the food pantry & shelter. He opened the place at 7 A.M, set the basket down on a table outside his office, went in and turned on his computer, came back out and the basket was empty. LOL I hope everybody got one of the Reese Cup Eggs.
