The parade tack of my dreams

My neighbor showed Hacknys. He had a silver parade saddle similar to this because his aunt & uncle had buku money.

As an adult, I thought I could afford this but alas these saddles were scarce and still put of my wallet‘s range, if I did find one.

What a great story. Prayers to Lucky, Charm, and their dam for a healthy survival.

In the 80’s a good friend of mine had a mare who birthed twins at home. Even though the vet was heavily involved, her sisters and I split shifts at the barn, one foal did not survive. It was crushing to say the least.

Also and FYI, maybe 15? or so years back, country singer Charlie Daniels had a Paint mare that gave birth to twins. They both survived.
