OZ, I too love opals, and lost a couple. Thereafter I began takeing all my rings to the jeweler, and had extra prongs put into unnoticeable areas for more security.:cool-new:
Fran, checked out your Pinterest. I loved the quaint cottages and decor pics. I got a couple of good decorating ideas come spring. Oh, please spring, come early and don't tease me anymore!
The sculpture of the rabbits pulling one rabbit out of the pond was adorable. I would love to get my hands on that, I have quite a rabbit collection. When I have more brain power I'm going back to browse more slowly.
Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I found out after the fact that opals are soft gemstones and don't hold well in the prongs..I need to take my ring in and have the stone tightened in the mount and add a few prongs. I never wear much jewelry anymore, shame because I used to spend lots of money on it...now I wish I had the money..![]()

Here's a girl after my own heart, i have many beautiful crystals some rare, i am blown away by nature and all the beautiful crystals , you have a great collection in there Fran, i first got into them when i lost my husband and was searching for some peace, i used to visit a new age shop and instantly would feel at peace, of course the couple who owned it were lovely and warm which made my visits happy ones,i had a few spiritual experiences there as well.
I have quite a few books on crystals and love looking at them and finding out how they formed etc. Thanks for putting the link on here.![]()
