Facebook canceled an internship of a Harvard Student who pointed out a privacy flaw in facebook messenger. Made up an app that allowed a user to find out where other users were geographically.

Facebook says they canceled his internship because he violated the terms of service. The student said the app was for his messages only and not a mine or 'scrap' for data as facebook says. Also facebook said they were working to correct "the flaw" for at least two months yet two weeks after the student posted the app and flaw it was updated/corrected.

A punk computer whiz or corporate whore covering their butts? CYA if you ask me. And yet facebook wants lenient immigration reform/visas for so called talent unavailable in the US.
