Facial Hair

after menopause i acquired more peach fuzz on my face. i already had some because i shaved my face when i was a little girl and made mom mad. so every so often i use nair on it. in between there's the old lady fluff and pluck of those whiskers that appear overnight and they're instantly an inch long. lol!

i just did a much needed de-hair today. feels much better. i worked with a lady once who actually shaved like a man. she had stubble. *shudders*
Oh geez, tell me about it...I had to go out and finally buy some Nair facial hair remover.
I'm dreading doing it, but I know I'll look and feel so much better. ☺️

Mustache and goatee.

The goatee is mostly to remind myself of where my chin used to be.

I grow a full beard in winter. Every year, my wife complains about it, but quiets down when she sees I'm not shaving it off. Every. Year. LOL.

Once in a while, I'll go clean shaven, just to remind myself I do, if fact, have my grandmother's jowls.

The State Police never allowed us to have facial hair. The detectives that wore suits were allowed a neatly trimmed mustache. I don’t know what the rules are today, but I doubt if uniformed Troopers are allowed any facial hair.

I had a full beard from my 20s into my 40s. Went clean-shaven for maybe 6 months and have had a goatee ever since. Now that’s it’s grey, it fits in with the mad scientist motif.
