Many fans not happy with the ESPY Aurthur Ashe/Courage Award to Caitlyn Jenner beating a college athlete with cancer who eventually died. Yes she should've gotten it posthumously. Rumors include the award part of deal with ABC who broadcast awards for interview.

It's not about Bruce's personal choice which was voluntary. He already had his 15 minutes including a Wheaties box, endorsements, tv show etc. To me this another example of simply going with what ever direction the wind is blowing on that day and not the entire year.

Should add another candidate could include a war veteran who lost limbs and battled back.

Jenner did what he did for himself. A soldier does it for others with little choice of where or how they go, they are the ones that must brave it out because they are living with circumstances with possible fatal consequences 24/7.

My friend posted a picture on facebook of two soldiers carrying a wounded comrade with the caption "Excuse us, we're on our way to thank Bruce Jenner for his bravery" I thought that summed it up.

I'm more worried about some poor kid in smallville someplace dealing with these issues.
