Never could understand this. Our species is carnivorous, or omnivorous anyway, eating meat is quite natural. So long as the species is not endangered I see no problem with eating marine mammals. Humans have been doing it for many thousands of years.

Well, we eat tuna, don't we? But you have to be pretty damned stupid not to know that thousands of dead "Flippers" on blood soaked beaches is a publicity horror show. Talk about 'bad optics'. Don't make the killings so public, dumb asses.

Absolutely! Never understood why those dolphins caught with tuna couldn't be eaten as well. Its a real waste...

I saw a documentary that showed the "Dolphin-Safe" tuna thing is pretty much a hoax. No canned tuna is really dolphin-safe, so why not just admit it, then regulate and eat the dolphin.
