Favorite Brand of Gas Ranges with Ovens

I need to purchase a 30" Gas Range that is reliable and was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with a particular brand.

I purchased a ZLINE and then read some bad reviews, mostly about it not heating evenly in the oven aka hot spots...so I canceled my order. One reviewer replaced the heating element and some other parts for $500 which didn't help.

I cook everyday for my dogs, me, family, visitors, etc. so I'm willing to pay whatever it takes...well, not a Viking...as long as its a 30" that slides into the counter, works well, and has an excellent repair record.

They are still being sold, used, for around $400-500! And, there seems to be old & new parts to keep it going! Mine never needed a part in it's whole history.

Thank you for these suggestions! Yours is awesome Pepper but I''ll probably never find it.

That Samsung looks perfect Alligatorob so now I can know where to start looking. I like that the top is flat and NO "backsplash" coming up in the back. Also like the knobs where they are easy to see. Also like the griddle in the middle. Nice!! I've looked around online and never saw that so thank you!

25 years ago, a NORGE Slide In gas stove (lower end "Maytag"?) was installed in the re-modeled kitchen. No problem with the range but the "oven gave up the ghost" a few years ago (apparently this happens often). As I am not making large meals, I decided to buy a toaster oven to minimize bending (and possible burning hands/arms.)

Even the oven lasted a looong time...22 yrs! Good idea to also get a toaster oven because I will have renters during the tourist season and they may find that convenient. Thanks BC Flash
Edit: I think they changed their name from NORGE to Kucht or Forno?
Edit: Oh wait, Norge ended up as Maytag like you said...and Maytag is now part of Whirlpool...good to know. I'll check it out

I never liked the fumes and finally gave away the gas range more than a dozen years ago.
Instead of that I use a Max Burton 6200 induction cooker that I got two of because it's much more efficient and no fumes. I also got two 3 quart induction saucepans and an 8 quart pressure cooker that I use to cook everything. There are plenty of other brands and induction ranges available now that would fit your 30" space.
