Favorite movie scenes ever.

When you watch this clip, you can see 2 bloopers. One is major. Charleton Heston and Linda Harrison are on horseback travelling along the beach for miles. When they come to the first structure, you can see where they began shooting by the horse tracks. They are not continous, but start somewhere about 30 or so feet away. But when they see the Statue of Liberty and Charleton Heston is off of the horse, and in the sand, you can actually see where the horse tracks start. The tracks look no more than 10 feet or so before where Heston dismounts.
Planet of the Apes was written or cowritten by Rod Serling that's why it has that Twilight Zone type of ending.

Just a little nostalgia from the film Psycho . One of the questions asked on a Quiz show here in Sydney. "What did they use for blood in the shower scene in the film Psycho?" The answer was Hersheys chocolate syrup. They used this as it was far darker for the black and white film, than fake blood.
I knew that. I used to have the movie on DVD. Also, Anthony Perkins once said that wasn't him with the knife in the shower scene. When Hitchcock filmed that scene, Perkins was in New York City rehearsing a play. Also Hitchcock used the sound effect of someone stabbing a honeydew melon, for when Detective Arbogast (Martin Balsam) gets stabbed.

“Favorite movie scenes ever.”

I’m not sure how I can define a favourite; there are so many that I could chose from.

Battle Of Britain. 1969, before the days of CGI. Royal Airforce & Luftwaffe over South West England.)

That red stuff in the movie, it’s only Heinz Tomato Ketchup. (Other brands of tomato source are available)

"Hidden Figures" (2016) This is the story of the brilliant African-American women mathematicians working at NASA who served a vital role during the early years of the U.S. space program and were the brains behind the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. Directed by Theodore Melfi. Starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kevin Costner.

Not seen this move. That first scene alone makes me want to watch this movie..

"Chicago" (2002) - A musical crime comedy-drama film based on the stage-musical of the same name. Directed by Rob Marshall. Starring Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Queen Latifah, and Richard Gere.

An interesting aside, during the filming of this movie Catherine Zeta-Jones was pregnant and sick as a dog. You'd never know it, and she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance. Well deserved I'd say. Watch in full screen if you can.

To offset the above clip with something more sublime, I offer another favorite.

"The King and I" (1956) - A widow accepts a job as a live-in governess to the King of Siam's children. Directed by Walter Lang. Starring Yul Brynner, Deborah Kerr, and Rita Moreno. Watch in full screen if you can.
