Favorite past times.

I want to reconfigure her old PC but it's hand's off & stored in a closet. Even though her CB is limited in storage & uses Google's Linux distro (I hate everything it represents). She does have her garden/reading/puzzles/wine to get a break from me. Bored enough?

What is Linux distro? I might want to check it out.
 

My favorite "pastime" is doing chores outdoors....I'm not a fan of sitting in the house all day....I'm not a fan of Winter.

My favorite "past times" were probably going to the lake on my days off, and fishing. I sold my nice Ranger boat when we moved here, and intended to buy a new one, but my priorities soon shifted, and I never did get another boat....I just go fishing a few times a year with
one of the Son-in-laws.

I currently use MX-21 KDE Plasma, found a few minor little problems but that's the beauty of Linux - you can make changes/corrections on the fly.

I love ubuntu and have used it for many years now. But I got a new computer and had to do the install myself. So far it is good, but cannot get up the nerve to go into terminal and try to get Libre office on it to work. I downloaded it but that is as far as I got.
 
Much of my time is spent on the computer. I do so much stuff on it that I have to tear myself away to do my household chores among other things. I do enjoy adult coloring books in the evenings when watching television. I read a lot too. In good weather, I like to go to the park or out and about town on my mobile chair.
 
During the pandemic, I've done a number of things, like crosswords, knitting, paint-by-number, playing a musical instrument, writing poems, photography, making videos, writing, etc.When things slow down and I can become more active in the community, I will expand my options. :)

Did you use the package manager or 'get' command? If package manager, easy uninstall/install. 'Get'/terminal a little more intervention on user. I use Symantec Package Manager mostly, 'KISS, Keep It Simple Sxxxxx'

Well, I am like you in a sense. I do not like sitting and doing nothing but watching the tv. I like getting out and about. However, when I am sitting and have some extra time, I like to read a good book or sew or something.

I am like you a little. I got a 500 piece puzzle for Christmas and finished it in 7 days. I had to stay in more and therefore, got back on this lovely board. So, I have already ventured out on other boards.

Adult coloring books, I hadn't thought about that one. Thank you. Will check it out.
 
I embroider prestamped quilt blocks. It keeps my hands busy while watching tv. I assemble them and quilt them together. Most are baby quilts for my great grandchildren. Didn’t have time for my grandchildren because I worked.
