Favorite Smells

No mint is an evil plant. It smells wonderful, nice tea, easy to grow. But NEVER put it in a garden. The ************ grows as a weed eventually. Thick ropey vines underground. It spreads and snuffles out surrounding plants. Mint only in a pot unless you want a monster.

Fur, what kind of mint did that?? My grandmother always kept an herb grden with spearmint in it and I did too and never had a weed problem.

I hear ya! I even like the smell of hot tar when they are paving the roads. Can't yet place the connection to the past, but there must be some. Or, maybe I'm just weird.

I used to love that smell too when I was a teenager. Go figure, but I think it reminds me of summer because that's the only time of year it's possible to tar roads around here. Endlessly warm sunny summer days....ah.
