Favorite thoughts to ponder...

Thoughts I ponder such as, If I were traveling at the speed of light and I had a flashlight in my hand pointing ahead of me, would any light emit from the torch?

Since I'm already traveling at the speed of light, wouldn't the light from the flashlight be unable to move ahead of me? Would it just hang there in the flashlight. And if that's the case, how would I be able to see where I'm going if I had no light in front of me from the flashlight?

These type of things keep me awake at night...

...and then I might ponder, since the speed of light is 186282.397 miles per second. If I were traveling at 186281.397 miles per second, would the speed of the light from my flashlight then move forward at just 1 mile per second?

Then I might ponder why has 186,282.397 been my favourite number since the age of ten, when my dad bought me a book with that number in it? *sigh...*

Then I might ponder when a school teacher at the time asked me what my favourite number is, and I told her, she looked at me as if to say, “strange boy…”
