Who says so if I may ask? I got injured pushing myself so now I listen to my body and when it demands a rest I give it one.Pushing yourself slightly "outside your comfort zone" could radically change your life
for the better.
Make a conscious effort to do little things that "scare" you every single day.
Doing this, will give you the courage to do just a little more each time.
What's yours?
Wow! GOODFor my 80th birthday. I flew a P-51 WW2 fighter. This coming Tuesday, I will celebrate my 84th by flying to Santa Barbara, on the 50th anniversary of my first solo flight.

Lately, I'd get a little shaky climbing ladders, too. Probably related to changes in elderly people's equilibrium.I absolutely must do a painting job outside that requires I climb a ladder. Two steps seems to be the max and I need to go up at least one more.
I would hire someone but no one is available. Good grief I shake so bad on the second step the paint job I do should be interesting, lines and squiqqles , an abstract for sure.
Holy crap! I'm impressed. For my 80th birthday. I flew a P-51 WW2 fighter. This coming Tuesday, I will celebrate my 84th by flying to Santa Barbara, on the 50th anniversary of my first solo flight.
But there are ways to push ourselves besides physically. I just wrote my first book at 71. You are 100% right about listening to what our body tells us.Who says so if I may ask? I got injured pushing myself so now I listen to my body and when it demands a rest I give it one.![]()
I read that female spiders come into your house to keep warm, they hide away and you seldom see them. The ones you are most likely to see scuttling around in your home are the chaps looking for the love of a lady spider. Now I try to catch them safely in a jar and release them outside. I feel quite virtuous as, we all know what fate awaits him when he finds love. Poor little fella is doomed, one way or anotherView attachment 221107
Believe me, when I see one of these, there's no need for laxatives.
