Funny, you mentioned this. I woke up this morning and I could hardly get up as my lower back was messed up. I did no lifting or physical work yesterday or the day before. My lower back has not bothered me in years. I too am in my 70's, so maybe it is just old age...regardless, I will need to work on it once it stops hurting. Stretching and strengthening is in order...I will be 70 in May. I've never felt "old" until a recent and spontaneous back issue decided to join me.
Yes, keep at it. I bought a walker so I could get some strength back in these old legs. It has helped already. We have a large pond in the center of my apartment complex with a paved walk around it. Yesterday I barely make 4 rounds and had to stop and rest twice. Today 5 rounds with no stops. Best of luck to you! Keep in touch.Funny, you mentioned this. Thanks for the encouragement. I don't plan to let this get the better of me. The alternative does not appeal to me!Welcome from PA70?? You're not "old" yet. I'm 77 and feel great physically most of the time, except I twisted my knee the other night. I did it turning over in bed! The heating pad has been my friend for a couple days.
