Field Roast vegan sausages

They had a discount on several packages of these in the store on Monday (near end of shelf life). I bought 2 different flavors - Smoked Apple Sage and Spicy Mexican Chipolte. Has anyone else tried these? If so, opinion.

I made a casserole with the spicy flavor, elbow macaroni and tomatoes. Cooling on the stove - haven't tasted it yet.

I've bought the smoked apple sage, I don't like spicy so I haven't tried the other. I like them. But I also haven't eaten meat in well over 30 years, so my taste is going to be different than others.

Like anything more processed, they will have an amount of sodium in them, but I think they are pretty good.

I tried the casserole. It was okay, but not something to place on Epicurious. The Apple Sage package is in the freezer for when I get around to using it.
