Fighting in the NBA is a bad look

Does anyone here watch the NBA? There was a fight on Saturday night between Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo. It was totally inappropriate and really hurts the integrity of the game. It really was a downer because it was the first home game that Lebron James played as a Los Angeles Laker.

Apparently Rondo spit on Paul... that would get a punch from me too! If you didn't see it, here it is:

Nope; I'm not an NBA fan. We used to be huge NFL fans until the recent bruhaha over the National Anthem. Frankly I'm sick and tired of overpaid athletes behaving badly. Where are the role models young people need? (Except for JJ Watt, of course. :D)

I'm not a huge fan of professional sports. It seems to be that there are no "losers" in professional games.....everybody gets paid....some just get paid a bit more than others....which makes them all "winners" in my opinion. Unfortunately, a lot of the overpaid babies don't act like winners, more like whiners.

I used to really like the Olympics because they had genuine winners. The person who came in fourth went home with nothing hanging around his neck. But now, the Olympics is pretty much the same as professional sports.

Agreed!

I saw that, I think 3 wound up being suspended. It will draw some attention to the league which is why they don't care, it's nothing but lip service.

In the day and age of sport supplements, professional training and the money at stake I can see some athletes getting testy if for no other reason to show their team mates and owner they still want to be there(filling their bank accounts). Also the size and weight of the players can make the court a little crowded at times.

Love JJ! On Wisconsin!
