Finally got what I think is

squatting dog

Remember when... thirty seemed so old.
the perfect beat for the song I wrote for my wife. (the 57 chevy and race car queen) ❤️
I named it "Dust on my Chevy Dreams".

that's AI isn't it.... this is when AI comes into it's own I like it...
Yep. I don't know how it does it, but,, I'm really starting to like Ai. I gave it a rough version on me singing, and somehow, it makes me sound professional. It took my voice (which sounds more nasal like) and actually changed it to sound smoother. Then, I had it try all different tempo's until I found one I liked, then I was able to add or subtract different instruments until I found the sound I wanted. (y) I think I see the future of the music industry.

Next, I think I've found the right programs to convert a Louis L'amour story into my own privately viewed movie. o_O I'll see how and if that'll work out.

yep it's really good for that, it makes people sound great...

I subscribe to a coupe of Yuutube channels, where they now use the AI music.. and they don't even sing themselves. They write what they want the song to say and AI does the rest...

Fabulous !

I did that also. Then decided to try using my own voice for personal ones. Turned out better than I hoped. :)

There's a guy who has a YouTube channel called Wings of Pegasus, which is the name of his hard rock band - you might have heard of them because they're British/out of London, but I'm thinking probly not because their genre is hard rock - but anyway, his name is Fil, and he is very critical of professional singers and musicians who use AI to make their recordings and even their "live" performances sound perfect.

His main 3 criticisms are
They do it without their audiences knowing, so it's kind of like cheating
The AI-assisted/Auto-Tune-corrected voices of singers who've been around for a while lose the character and uniqueness that made their voices famous in the first place, and newer singers all sound pretty much the same, and
Concert-goers are paying hundreds per ticket to listen to an AI generated voice instead of their favorite artist's voices.

Fil hates it. He feels like music fans are getting ripped off, especially concert-goers; like tickets should either cost way less, or audiences should understand that they're paying to see a "show" and not a concert. In Fil's opinion, AI is ruining the music industry because virtually anyone can "sing" now, musicians and singers have lost all value, and unique voices are history.

And don't even get him started on song writing. :p

Nope never heard of them so that's Ironic in itself... even being hard rock I would likely have heard of them..the X was a big hard rock fan..and wokred with many of the most famous bands..

..but the point is being missed here..we're talking about people who wouldn't normally have the greatest singing voices...making videos' using AI... to make them sound good... not established singers like Cher for example.. who used Auto tune , to a massive extent way back.. when her voice started failing...

When I put my songs up on YT, AI didn't exist, so my voice, in all its out of tune glory is what there is for people to listen to. I suppose I could go back and bring in an AI robot to clean up my voice, smooth out my guitar playing, and make my efforts sound professional, but then it wouldn't be me would it? So I think I'll leave my stuff as it is, rough around the edges, but all my own work.

I think Wings of Pegasus got popular in about 2017, around there somewhere.

I got the point, and I think it's awesome what squatting dog did. I was responding to where you said "fantastic," which I know was meant for squatting dog, but made me think of Fil, who doesn't think it's very fantastic.

yep you're right, I meant it for Squatting dog... and also the Youtubers I fllow who've been clever in adding it to their videos... not music videos.. but just normal how to video's....living life videos'... I think it's clever.

I woudn't want a chart full of AI music.. but in these circumstances I really think it's come into it's own
