Finding things-What was the last thing you found?

To be honest I've been a little prideful at how well I can find lost items, for myself or others. But I can't find my blue ipod that has over 300 of my favorite songs on it and several guided meditations and an audio book or two. Its been missing for a few months. So what was the last thing I found? A gas can my husband was looking for that he uses to mix some sort of oil and gas for a weedeater or chain saw or something. I also recently found his hand truck and a shovel. Things go into his shop and hide from him.

I go for walks every day and it's amazing the stuff that shows up with the snow melting or even in the summer.

I picked up a pair of prescription sunglasses with bifocal lenses complete with case.

I tried to find the owner by advertising it with no luck.

But the stuff that shows up is simply amazing. For instance a knee brace. Car parts by the hundreds. How did they get there?

I think they are dropped on the road and the snow plow throws them onto the sidewalk. I call it detritus. It will make future archeologists happy.

I rarely find anything of worth or of note... but found a £1 coin in the dried caked mud when I was out on the field with the horses the other day...no idea how that got there

What was the last thing you found Furry ?

Oh my, I see you meant things we found. I was thinking of finding something we lost!

I seldom find things unless it's a penny or nickle someone dropped. Well, the last substantial thing I found was $385 cash in a tiny worn leather purse several years ago. My daughter and I found it next to the sidewalk under a little tree in So. Calif. She turned it in to the police department and that was the end of it as far as we were concerned. 30 days later they called and said it hadn't been claimed and for her to go pick it up. So I put some with it and we went to Las Vegas for a week end. But we both would have rather given it back to whoever lost it. We felt bad and what if it had been someone's grocery money or money to buy their kids some cloths or something? We had fun in Vegas though.

I found a set of keys on a park bench a couple of years ago, and called out to a lady who had just left the bench, she said the keys were there when she first sat down and we decided to leave them, in case the owner retraced their steps

The lady and I got chatting and have been friends ever since, so I suppose you could say, I found a friend :)

Well-both!

Yesterday, I found a shirt I'd forgotten I owned. And I only bought it a few months ago. Yikes! Does that count? No? Then how 'bout this?

I walk every day if I can, same route. A couple months ago I noticed a spoon laying on the ground at the edge of someone's yard. Then a few days later and not too far from the first, I found another, completely different spoon. A day or two later someone had put it on top of a nearby mailbox. The first spoon has disappeared, but the second one is still there.

last thing I found in the store carpark -was a gold bracelet with either mock diamond or could be real -put add up in the store
for a month -then nothing -so put small add in local newspaper 'and still nothing ' its very pretty but big on me -but will have it valued at some point !

Yesterday I found my husband`s missing glasses on the front passenger seat of my car. He lost them last Friday. He looked in my car but said they weren`t there. Did the "man-look" apparently. Oh,and night before last I found his back up pair on the bathroom counter. I beg him to wear them around his neck but he won`t. Sunglasses yes,but regular glasses,no.

Kids found a guitar thrown away sticking out of a dumpster. Hubby said it sounded better than any guitar he'd ever had. Forgot what name it is.

We have lost more than we found though. I just had to roder air pump, lines and air stones ,we looked all over the place for them , guess we will find them next time we are looking for something else.

We find ours on our head sometimes after looking all over the place.

I found an expensive pair of designer sunglasses in a rental car. I dutifully turned them in, but the agent told me to keep them. Easy come, easy go: They were stolen out of my truck by a break-in artist.
