First "modern" human's into Europe

Have you ever heard of the New Zealand woman Nancy Wake who led a French Resistance group during WW II?
Not specifically. @Warrigal
On Aug 15th (2021) I started thread ( "A call to spy") about the female S.O.E. agents that were instrumental in setting Europe ablaze during WW2. I said it was a "cracking good yarn" and I encouraged people, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, to watch that movie at the 1st opportunity.

The heroic women of the S.O.E. were great leaders in the underground fight against Nazism. Many of them were captured, tortured and ultimately murdered. BUT I have never read anything about them engaging in actually physical hand-to-hand combat. Hollywood panders to feminism and Hollywood portrays women going physically toe-to toe with men. BUT that is the wildest of fantasies.

PS: That thread on female resistance agents went over like a lead balloon. I think I got 1 or 2 replies.
EDIT TO ADD: the film "A Call to Spy" is currently on Netfix

Use your search engine to look up "the White Mouse" and you should find Nancy Wake.

I found her. She was a spy and a courier and also commanded a group of Marquis. She killed Germans because she hated them for personal reasons.
