First Movie You Ever Saw In a Theatre?

Don't remember the first, but the most memorable was Doctor Zhivago. Have never watched it again. I don't want to ruin the memory since I'm sure it wouldn't live up to it.
Mom took us to see it. I don't recommend showing the film to a 10 year old whose not interested in girls, romance or marriage.

Most boring 2 hours ever.

Bambi. And my baby sister cried a lot, not because Bambi's mom got shot (oops, spoiler...sorry) but just because she was cranky. Me and my brothers were so annoyed. Even so, we took turns holding her and entertaining her. Ruined the plot-continuity, but dad made everything ok - li'l Bonnie fell asleep before the 1st showing ended, and dad let us stay for the entire second showing! Simultaneous Bonus: stayed up way past our bedtime and shared a second tub of popcorn!
Bambi was my first too.
My older cousin took me to see it. Saturday matinee We both cried and cried and cried. Lots of sniffles all over.
We also sat through the second show and cried some more.

Some sword fighting thing my big brothers wanted to see. All I cared about was the Necco wafers anyway.

When I was about 2&1/2 or 3 my father took me to an eye Dr for my crossed eyes. I cried so my loving daddy said "it's alright baby, you don't have to see that nasty Dr". Then at 5 my mother left us and my grandparents got me ( thank the lucky stars). So grandma took me for a walk to the nearby store. Being the hyper child I was, I ran into a parked car and knocked myself out. She took us home and immediately started testing my eyes, she would stand at a distance and hold up fingers I was to tell her how many fingers I saw, I couldn't tell her until she was 3 inches in front of my face. My 15 year old uncle had an appointment with his eye Dr in Los Angeles, so she took me instead. She promised me cartoons if I was a good girl at the Dr's. After the appointment she tried to find a theater with cartoons, but no luck. So the first movie I saw in a theater has fled from my memory, but there was a cartoon before the main feature. My grandma saved me from blindness, I am forever grateful!

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Although it was released in 1954, I lived in a small mountain town. We had a theater, but they did not get new movies for a few years after they came out. So, I am guessing I saw this around 1956 maybe 1957. I was 6-7 years old depending...
