First National News of Marijuana as a Crime

HDH, this is your 2nd 'marijuana' thread, are you curious deep down inside? it's now legal in Calif. for both medical and recreational use.

You don't have to worry about the stigma now. If you use it, nobody is going to judge you.

You can have "up to" one oz. of pot in your possession, before you have to worry about:

No, I'm not curious and don't intend to try the weed again!

I was merely trying to enlighten those who were unaware of the seriousness of Marijuana posession back in the 1940's.

Cheers,

I believe that this came out on the heels of that 'truthful reality documentary' called 'Reefer Madness' that totally convinced me after I was forced to watch it in the 7th grade back in the 50's. Boy was I scared!

And it is just as serous today and in Colorado you can grow, purchase, and use much at your will, you just have to stay away from the higher potential stuff. It is sort of like saying beer is no problem for the drinkers if they just stay away from the heavy stuff like wines, bourbons, whisky, and others.

On either subject it is possible to become addicted without intent, it just happens, and then the problems really begin.

I was reading where Colorado is crying in their beer, wondering what to do with the $500M they have collected in tax since 2014 on cannabis sales.

Marijuana possession was pretty serious back in the 70s, I had a couple former high school friends that got felonies on their records, for MJ possession.

The Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 make MJ illegal just in time for Robert Mitchum to get snagged. The Controlled Substances Act in the 1970’s is what nailed my HS friends,

and everyone else, ever since.

I read something recently that said you smoke it to get goofy, but for medicinal purposes it should be ground up and added to food. I never messed with it, so I don't know. I have heard that it stinks when it is smoked and has some of the same negatives as tobacco.

I wouldn't mind having "something" to help bring on a relaxed state, but I don't drink, and would never want to smoke anything, ever again.

Meditation might be helpful to you. There are a lot of videos on it on Youtube. :)

I really need to try that, have just watched a couple meditation videos, while sitting on the couch. I guess I need to get a yoga mat, and sit on the floor....

I have been meditating since I was twenty. I find sitting in a comfortable chair works for me.

That works for me, at this stage in the game being hardcore at anything frequently isn't an option. ;)

...I might fall asleep, and miss all the relaxation. :hypnotysed:
