If I am standing closer to him, I will notice more particulars, like his eyes and smile .

What I first notice when meeting anyone is a combination of all the following: General appearance, neatness, posture, and whether approachable, or aloof / disinterested / withdrawn.

His eyes and lashes. If his smile is soft, all the better. Another thing I look at right off the bat, is the thickness of a guy's neck. It can tell you if he was a wrestler and that is a turn-off for me.

There's an old joke, what's the first thing a man looks at when he sees an attractive woman?-- The size of the guy with her.

For me, it changes from person to person. Sometimes it may be clothing, or it could be the way they gesture, their eyes, or their voice, it's never the same.
