First UK Space port

Unst in the Shetland Islands is set to become the first UK spaceport for vertical launch rockets. It is hoped that sub-orbital launches will begin next year and orbital launches carrying satellites in 2025.

The North Atlantic ocean to the west and the Norwegian sea to the east & north. Unst (Pop. 632 at last census) is the most northerly populated island of the British Isles and is 643 miles from London (in a straight line). It has it's own airport and the best bus shelter in Britain. It's redecorated every year.
