That's one of my favorite frozen meals, @Aunt Bea! Unlike so many other frozen fish products these days, this one is actually fish.I’ve been through a similar ordeal when trying to order iced tea in the winter!
It’s the reason that some folks get frustrated and leave a penny tip!
As for fish sticks and fish sandwich squares I miss the ones that we had in the 60s and 70s.
When I’m overcome with nostalgia, I turn to Stouffer’s.

I enjoy it but it does have it’s share of starchy goo, I overcook mine by 5-10 minutes.I'm going to try Stouffer's Fish Fillet, next time I shop.
Dave, I make my own fish fingers with 1" square cod slices, 4" long, and I had some for my lunch, absolutely scrumtious.I liked fish sticks when I was younger, but no longer. And I don't believe that it's because I got older and more refined. Today's fish sticks have very little fish and some kind of fish goo that transcends from the actual fish into the breading, so that I can't really tell where the fish ends or where the goo starts and finally becomes breading. I admit, it does taste kind of like fish, but the texture is absent. I don't really like the goo, which makes up most of the stick.
Mac and cheese doesn't sound like something that goes with fish, but I like both. If the starchy goo is not in the fish, it will be fine. Gortons used to make a breaded cod fillet, and I would buy a bunch at a time, regardless of the expense. But they they phased them out. They got harder to find, and the one day, they were just gone, and a new fish goo product was introduced, but was nothing like the cod fillet they made before.I enjoy it but it does have it’s share of starchy goo, I overcook mine by 5-10 minutes.
I haven't purchased fish sticks in a long time, mostly because there's more breaded coating than fish.. I get these occasionally, but the 'gooiness' makes it not-so-great.I’ve been through a similar ordeal when trying to order iced tea in the winter!
