Fish for a change.

Fish is expensive now but I felt like a dish of fish.

I made cauliflower with it. I steamed it until it was tender.

And I added hash browns.

The fish was breaded and fried.

I added sauce to the cauliflower and the fish. A nice change from chicken and meat.

Yes, it is good for a change. Went to the market yesterday for some fish. They really did not have anything I wanted, so I bought some lobster stuffed mushrooms and a couple crab cakes. Just for something different. They were not bad. Not sure I would buy the crab cakes again, but the mushrooms were good.

Last week, I went over to the Son-in-Laws place on the Lake of the Ozarks, and we spent the day fishing. Between the two of us we caught 12 Walleye, and 6 big catfish. We have about 12 lbs. of Walleye fillets, and over 20 lbs. of catfish in the freezer now. The Walleye, especially are very good eating.

We have fish very regularly probably 3 or 4 days of the week in various forms...

Tonight I had Cod ... hubs didn't , he had Stuffed red bell peppers.. but he has fish more than me, usually Salmon or Mackerel for him... for me usually Salmon, trout or Shellfish..Scallops are my favourite..

Tomorrow for brunch I'll be having smoked salmon mousse and cream cheese wrapped in smoked salmon slices

What type of fish did you have Camper?

Walleye. I used to fish for them and now I have to buy them. Very expensive now. About $20 a pound.
