Fish likely causing mysterious sound heard around this city

We live on 18 acres of mid-Missouri forest, and we have heard some really spooky stuff coming from it. We also hear loud bass and drum rap music blaring from cars that pass by up on the Hwy we live near. This is a story about a really weird mysterious sound that had people looking for answers. They probably have figured out the source....

Really odd-----
Up here there are always spring peepers around April, and a friend of mine taped them one night and then played the tape back very loud and they all were silent for quite a while. They were a shock to hear for some city folk who visited me.

@Flarbalard

The video is not from my area, but we have many very good bass fishing lakes/ponds around here in mid-Missouri. I was an addict about 10 years ago. I caught two 2 1/2 lb ones, and loads of keepers. We ate bass nearly 3 times a week back then. They croak a bit but don't make drum sounds. :)

Paco Dennis,

I misread your original post. I thought you had also been experiencing some noise in addition to normal highway stuff.

Tree Frogs, Crickets, Geese flying overhead, Possum screams in the night, rabbits, Coyotes, High Tension Power lines, you name them. Most
Likely 18 Wheeler tire noise on the interstate is the most often nighttime growls. I got Tornados sounding like Cement mixers and bowls of spoons crashing and booming. .... :ROFLMAO: .... The sky with Hail up there sounds like nothing else.

We hear a lot of unrecognized sound coming from our forest. Was it a howl, or bark, or groaning? Sometimes screams, or very loud grokking. :)
