Flame Meets Hand Sanitizer, Sending Woman to ICU

Not only should you not consume hand sanitizer, you should avoid open flames immediately after putting some on your hands—as a Texas woman learned the hard way. Kate Wise of Round Rock is recovering in the ICU after suffering burns to her entire body. She says she was trying to light sage after using hand sanitizer on Sunday when the flame "lit my whole hand on fire," per CBS Austin.

Oh for the love of God! You mean to tell me there are people who don't know that crap is flammable? Do people not read the labels on anything anymore?

This is why I'm not a fan of sanitizer because of the residue it leaves. And they've been giving flammable warnings for months now. That residue winds up being a napalm of sorts.
Even not flammable the residue can attract dirt, leave prints and ick else where.

Speedy recovery.
