Does getting together with certain family members count? 
That's as much disaster I want to flirt with anymore.
We used to go out to one neighborhood bar once in while, but over the years it seemed like people were getting to loud/obnoxious (aka not able to hold their liquor) or I just got to old to listen to them. Sadly, our old haunt closed down about a year ago.

Most likely the best way to deal with a future is nibble on some Hershey's Nuggets first.

I went to a surprise 75th bday party last Saturday, that's about as wild and crazy I've gotten in a while.

If you don't mind, where do you spend your time in SWFL? I was in sales, based in Tampa, and Naples, Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Cape Coral were all part of my territory.

I went out to a wine bar with a friend last night to meet up with a couple of other friends. I rode with my friend (we're neighbors). As tempted as I was to have a couple of drinks, I only had one beer because I could tell she was going to overindulge. Thus, I drove her car home (we're neighbors).
I called it "the blind driving the intoxicated." I can't see worth sh!t at night but at least it was a straight and short shoot home. I drove carefully and right at the speed limit.
I told her next time we are Uber-ing.

All the time, although to be honest, our socialising has been curtailed by my wife's heart surgery. However she is slowly recovering. Later this afternoon we shall be off to the Community Centre at Canford Heath for an afternoon's fun with friends.
Sunday afternoon Dance, featuring 60s swing and Latin music: Dance Styles: 1940s Jive, Cha Cha, Charleston, Lindy Hop, Jive, Rock n Roll, Salsa & West Coast Swing. Price: £10 Time: 2pm till 5:30pm “ 60's swing and Latin Thing” is a fun relaxed Sunday afternoon, dance. The selection of music means that many styles can join in the fun but all tracks played are modern jive friendly,
Saturday evening we dined out at Al Trullo Italian restaurant, a small band entertained us and a few couples made use of the dance floor.
New Years eve at The Bournemouth Pavilion, we had dinner, followed by a stage show and then dancing well into the new year.
We have no family, it's just the two of us, socialising has always been our life, otherwise it can get lonely. We are on the left as you look at this photo, my wife is in the yellow dress.

Beautiful area! I last visited 5 years ago and can't believe how busy it has gotten during season.
