Florida Man Dies From Flesh-Eating Bacteria in Ocean Saltwater

Saw one article blaming it on the warm water which was also mentioned in this article. This is the Gulf side. Just visually on a map you would think the Gulf would act as a big pot of what ever. At least on the Atlantic side there's a greater chance of dilution. This is a bad time of year because all of the tourists and boaters probably put a lot more in the water than a foot or rudder.

There was a piece on NBC News last night telling us to stay out of warm water because if high contents of bacteria,t is mostly in ponds and lakes. The ocean(Atlantic) here in Florida is tested every 3 days for any bacteria in the hot months .
I'm worry more about this Ebola thats coming to America very soon.

I've been in the gulf water off the Fl west coast once.

It was like being in a lake.

Some kind of grass or kelp growing on the bottom.

Didn't enjoy it.

I like the Atlantic side.
