Foggia is an area in Italy with little towns scattered around. My maternal ancestors were feom there.

My wife’s paternal relative are from an area an hour north of Venice. The closest I’ve been to where you are now was on a visit to Wave Hill gardens and cultural center. Been to Italy a couple times.

My maternal grandparents are from that area. I've never been there but I've been to Italy 4 times.

My father was born not too far from Foggia, this is why it resonates with me. I was there once but it was a very long time ago. We still have family living in that area.
