Snippet of the article

Hales said the decision to terminate Jones wasn’t solely based on the investigation findings.

“We made the best decision we could, and so, sometimes things just don’t fit well and we just don’t feel like we were moving in the right direction and so we terminated the contract,” Hales said.

When CBS 17 asked him to provide specific examples, Hales said he wouldn’t get into personnel matters.

Why does this sound like a "good ol' boys' club" decision. Nobody can point to what she supposedly did, but they are quite sure she did it. And even if she didn't do it, we are firing her- the township's decision was NOT based on what she supposedly did. I appreciate the township's position as employer and being unable to air incidents, due to confidentiality reasons. But that doesn't prevent the "resigners" from doing so, and they haven't come up with any incidents. This sounds more like who got the closest parking spot
Thanks, Knight, for the follow up.
