My daughter posted a list of all the places that have burned......
"Newton, Burgess, Chateau Boswell, Meadowood Resort, Calistoga Ranch, the farmhouse at Castello di Amorosa, Titus, Fairwinds Estate, Hourglass’ Blueline Vineyard, possibly Schramsberg ... my heart aches for the loss of parts or all of these amazing wineries, estates and historic properties. I’m heartsick for my other home and praying for evacuated friends awaiting word on the status of their own homes and livelihoods. Uncork something from #napavalley tonight. It’s a small thing, but a meaningful show of support to this small-but-mighty valley. #glassfire #napastrong
😢

And Sterling Winery."

The building I have been very concerned about is the Graystone, which now houses the Culinary Institute of America, and last I heard it came very close, with the building next door burning. Time will tell if they can save it.

Last night my 3 daughters and I were on a group chat with each other on FB. My youngest daughter was concerned with her best friend of 25+ years as it had just been announced that the fire was headed towards her. She knew that Sarah would be sleeping and may not know what was happening. I told her to call her NOW! She did,but her phone went directly to voicemail. So she called her 14 yo son and he said "Yes,I can see the flames.Should I wake my mom and dad up??" Ummm,YEAH! So he woke her up and gave her his phone. She was sound asleep and not very "with it" but knew something had to be wrong. Thankfully, they have an RV,so they got their kids and dogs and got out. Don`t know if they still have their home.

So glad your daughter had the son's phone number and got through to them. Hope their home was spared!

Very sad to see all the wineries impacted by the fires. :(

So very sad.

I've been praying for everyone's safety.
