I would love to be able to say 'that is freaking awesome' but it's just not possible [without a hint of irony] so I will just say 'that looks really impressive', however, the weather person on tv today was getting really excited about 2 cms of snow on Dartmoor, so I don't think we will need a super-dooper trackandgo after all.
Anybody here know about Eagle River, Wisconsin? It's the home of the INTERNATIONAL snowmobile races (or at least it used to be)! Back in the early 70's, my Dad had a little dual carburator 1971 GPX Yamaha snowmobile. My Dad raced at Eagle River. He died 1975, when I was only 11yrs old. Mother and I kept that snowmobile for like.... forever! In 1978 I raced Dad's snowmobile in the Jr. league.
I swear, if Dad was still alive... HE would of been the one inventing that Track n Go system. LOL
At age 70!!!! AGE 70!!!! My Mother and Step-dad were up by the Minnesota/Canadian border. They put 500 miles on their snowmobile in TWO WEEKS! My kids called her "Go Granny!"
When Dad was alive, I basically was raised on a snowmobile, during those winter months.
I'm pretty sure I sucked in too many fumes from that duel carburator, too.
Mother and Step-dad did the Minnesota/Canadian snowmobile trip in February (Mother was aged 70). March 12th the huge German Shephard dog jumped on her while in the garage. She got knocked over on the concrete garage floor. Long story short.... she got Emergency hip surgery that night... and never came out of the surgery 'in her right mind'. She died 4 yrs later of what we believe to be Lewy Body Dementia.
Something about that surgery... it was her 'trigger' into Dementia hell.
I will never understand how a 70yr old woman, could snowmobile the way she did... and a month later.... 'out of her mind'.
