This is Alnwick (pronounced Annick) castle in Northumberland, N England. It was used as the setting for Hogwarts school in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets.

Note that the figures on top of the walls are 'props' - not part of the original castle.

Did you see that Barnard Castle has attracted more visitors, thanks to Dominic Cummings bringing it to the public's attention?
 
I've never been to Northumberland, but I've heard it's beautiful.. albeit cold and rainy... ..but I have been to King X station London platform 9 & 3/4..,a few times... :D..There's always queues of people lined up to have their photos taken...regardless of what time of the day it is.. and to spend their money in the vastly overpriced.. Harry Potter tourist shop..
