For my US friends. Fall Back

Thanks for the reminder Marie, I've been mentioning it yesterday and today to my husband, but I hadn't set the clocks back until you reminded me.

Sea Breeze, I was in the kitchen changing the time on the wall clock a couple hours ago. Hubby asked what I was doing..I said turning clock back while I was thinking of it. His response "But time does not change until 2AM." Reminded HIM that I planned to be in bed at 2.

Exactly! When I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, or am starting to wake up in the morning, I like to know what the real time is.

Lord if they would just do away with this twice a year insanity. Some States are starting to take a hard look at Daylight Saving Time and questioning if it's worth the hassle. I'm of the opinion it isn't.

You could move to Arizona.. last I knew, they didn't do the time-changes.

I also had a high school teacher (NY) who refused to change the clock in the classroom.

I'm lucky, though, the only time-pieces I use daily are the computer and cell phone, and they change automatically. :)

Thanks, JaniceM, moving would be an option, my Mother lives there and I envy her not having to do the twice a year time foolery. However, we just paid our house off this year and the hassle of relocating to Arizona would far outweigh the hassle of fussing with the clocks twice a year :).

The spring time changed doesn't bother me much. But the October one wrecks me for a day or two. That's when I change the batteries on everthing with a battery. I've ruined some things by forgetting the batteries, and they decayed.
But , in Oct., I just don't feel right. It's nothing you can say,"that's what it is".
