For Single Sleepers (and others can chime in too) What Size is Your Bed?

My bed is double. I tried a single but I love to sprawl out in the bed so I need a double.

For my wife and I, we need a queen. But I generally get up in the middle of the night, have a bowl of cereal and have devotions and then retreat to the dark, cool, quiet “sleeping room” for the rest of the night and sleep on a full size bed, but I never need even half of it. I think that alone, I could get by on an army bunk with enough cushion to make it soft. I am so used to sleeping in a small space that I have no problem lying in an MRI “tomb” for a half hour.

I have always had a queen sized bed. Being single for the last 14 years, just me in bed with no pets, well, let me say I sleep a full 8 hours, if not more, and waken refreshed. Sometimes I use the entire bed, other times it's a narrow path as I haven't moved all night.
Can you tell I love my bed? Oh yeah....it's been kind to me.

I have tried short napping in a recliner and it hurts my neck and shoulder. I wonder how people do it?

I enjoy my bed time, too. I do my thinking of the day's events, smile, then get my book to do my reading there after the day is done. Never did have a TV in my bedroom, didn't want one to distract me....ermmm.

King size: (152cmX198cm; roughly 60"X80") since December 2021.

Same as the Queen size (152cmX203cm; 60"X80") we had on our work contracts. Therefore my old sheets for Queen fits the new 2021 UK King Size, finally!

There's room for three now, daughter (since hubby passed away) myself and kitten stretched in between us...Yes, a wee 8 months old kitten takes a full third for his sleeping comfort!

I sleep on a full size in one bedroom and she sleeps in a queen size in the master bedroom.
We both snore, so this was our solution and I get my sleep in just fine!
