For The Love Of Dogs

2 months ago, I adopted Rex at 12 months old and 60 pounds. He is more than a handful.

Chewing on furniture and sandals is more fun than leather bones................Rex tries hard but hasn't caught a gopher yet.

Rex almost caught the $1,600 drone.

The devil is chasing Rex.......................................................................................and cooling off.

my dog [pig dog] is my only constant companion he never bothers me with one exception - I feed him daily let him out for exercise and sit with him but can never let him off a running long lead. the last family just had had enough of him - him being an escapologist - he is frightened of thunder and storms and rushes into my bedroom and lays on the top blanket until it abates.

I kiss him daily and he tries to return the favour but it is always too wet and sloppy - he has snappy treats from time to time and when I go out four mornings a week he just lays about I assume doesn't make a mess and glad to see me back - what more could I ask for - well more companionship for him he still seems lonely but very patient?

@packleader one of my Catahoula rescues (RIP Mason) was a nervous chewer and was chewing everything.

I bought him real deer antlers, processed for safe eating. Amazingly, he went right to those deer antlers and stopped chewing other things that he shouldn’t be.

These are real antlers (albeit processed) from chewy.

Maybe they will help curb your new pups, chewing appetite.😇😇
