For the very first time which item really frustrated you?

After the Tylenol scare back in the 80's,all the medicine/pill bottles were required to have new safety caps on.
I remember having a hard time opening a bottle with new cap. The older I get its still hard especially if you have'Mr Arthur' aka arthritis in your hands/fingers.
If I can't get it off I sometimes use pilers Sue

First intense frustration: My Dad took me to a parking lot to teach me how to ride a bike. I was five years old. He pushed me off, I fell, quickly, and we left. Great, Dad, thanks. A few days later, Debby Clark was riding around the block. I was so annoyed, so angry at myself. I knew that the street behind mine had a house with a raised front yard, complete with a concrete ledge. Perfect! I trotted my bike back there, got up on the ledge and pedaled off. I fell, twice, but the third time I rode around the whole damn block! YES! My opinion of my Dad was lessened, absolutely, and persisted up to his death. My opinion of myself was raised, greatly, and this bicycle episode would set the tone for my future: If I couldn't do something, initially, I taught myself how to do so, eventually. I have saved thousands, upon thousands, of dollars, literally, over my lifetime, doing things myself, where others would hire someone. Bah! The work you do yourself, beats that of hired hands, in many, if not most, cases.

Roller Skating.

Never could get the hang of it.

Me neither and I had a really nice pair bought for me a couple of times and was thinking of trying again after watching videos on youtube, but, no, I think I have enough body aches to last me the rest of my days. But still, I dream. :)

I avoid them like the plague.Horrible things.

More and more of them are appearing at all kinds of stores.

I love them. I hate standing in line while the clerk talks to the customer.

And if I miss an item I can go back without having to stand in line again.

You will see more and more of those self checkouts as the wages increase and there will be less checkout lanes.

It's all about profit.

Have to go with sewing machine, I have a nearly new one sitting in the basement for years now. The few times I used it was frustrating and never pleasurable for me, took days to make some kitchen curtains instead of hours, and they didn't come out great.
