Here's a tip for those who enjoy jigsaw puzzles. You can do them quite effectively online at www.jigidi.com. It's free ! You can select from a wide variety of images and specify the number of pieces so that you can control the difficuty. You can save unfinished puzzles and work on them at your own convenience. You can review the huge inventory of images and bookmark those you like and they will be held in a folder for you to do when you feel like it. Most of the images come from users of the site, so you can submit your own jpegs or jpegs that you haved saved (i.e. images you have saved from the web) to your own hard drive.

I use this one: http://www.jigsawplanet.com I enjoy and like this one a lot, too. It has all the features you mentioned, plus, if you like, you can compete against others using the time needed to complete them. I don't use that feature though. You can also follow people whose submissions you like especially, or search for things (landscape etc), or choose topics. You can only pick one at a time though.
