Title. Does fortune favor the brave? IMHO, it does more than not. Everyone makes mistakes in life and may suffer for them but brave people seem to use all experience to promote growth and success in their lives. They're often upbeat people too and fun to be with so I would vote yes on this question. What do you feel about it?

Yes, I believe to a great extent it is true to say “fortune favours the brave”..
People who are not afraid of failure and willing to take risks now and then can reap great benefits.
Personally, I'd rather take a calculated risk than be stuck in the same spot for a long time.

Yes, I believe it. To some extent, we create our destinies. I've made a couple of major moves in my life that have put me in a better place, but I still wish I'd been willing to take more risks. I guess that's the difference between me and Elon Musk, Mark Cuban, Mark Zuckerberg and the lot. "No guts, no glory".

I have found that I almost always do better by stepping outside my comfort zone. Its just taking that first step is hard.

but wish you had..... if you're still topside

I know a lot of "brave" military people. They don't consider themselves to be "brave"- they had to do what they had to do. If "brave" means determination, well that's necessary in all human activity.

I think that is just another way of saying that success is built on failures, so long as the failures are learned from. The brave take chances and have both failure and success, we tend to just remember the success. Not so brave don't and as a result have a lower chance of success.
