The TV series ......... Anyone here follow/watch it ? I started watching it a few months back. For some reaon I just like it, it's not all flash, sex, violence & hero crap. IMO the *actors* play their parts well, it is well written, and i like the WWII England setting.

* How can you not like an actress named Honeysuckle* ?

I like the episodes I watched, thought it well acted …. Just, somehow, it made me depressed watching it. Can’t put my finger on the exact reason. Anyway, I haven’t watched anymore “(

We're watching it again too. The number of anachronisms sometimes are a bit too much, but the little ones are fun to catch. Most of the British programs we have been able to see have a much higher level of acting talent. They seem to use people based more on their talent than appearance.

I watched it long ago, I liked the cast, too, Michael Kitchen is a favorite of mine.

I always thought Honeysuckle Weeks and Benedict Cumberbatch had the two best names in acting.

My only complaint was that every few weeks the show would feature some American soldiers and they were usually jerks.

I enjoyed it. I would put it in "comfort show" category for me , much like Doc Martin and Eureka is. Solid shows that I can have fun watching without becoming too invested in them. My favorites such as Lost, The Sopranos, or Deadwood can wear me out when I do re watch them.

Any show set in England during WWII usually gets my attention.

Yep, it was a good show, we watched it beginning to end, kind of disappointed there were not more.

I'd recommend it to anyone who has not seen it!

Agreed! - I like watching a show with people who look real.

"I like watching a show with people who look real."

I agree here !

Yes I watched the whole series few years ago on our PBS...wish they would run it again..
Must check my library..they may have it....

Yes, I've watched and liked them. I'm also a big fan of 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Death in Paradise'. Something different than what they show here. Not as violent and much more interesting.
