This one is about the shooting/killing of a 17 year old of north African decent. It seems like many of the French people hit the streets when their "government" does something that shocks the tranquility it is supposed to be providing. It could happen in America over some recent government rulings and law enforcement problems.

France seems to have a protest a month. Wether it's the yellow vests or some of these migrant communities.

Not saying the driver deserved to be shot but was a non compliant suspect. Before they edited the video the uncut version shows a gun shot as the car starts moving. Police said the suspect threatened to run them over. The suspect had an existing criminal record including not cooperating/complying with police demands.

In the meantime those looking for an excuse for mayhem got one.

Have the French completely lost their minds - rioting and destroying people's property! It is madness and cannot be justified.

They always are volatile over the slightest thing but this is ridiculous even for them.

If you remember the "French Revolution", when they were chopping of everybody's head? And we all have seen "Les Mis" with the street barriers. It is in French DNA to protest, and to protest hard. And if there's not a $ million+ in damages, some explosions and a few bodies- it wasn't much of a protest. Geesh!!

France is always rioting, and burning..and looting. It's the huge amount of Illegal migrants who start most of it...

TBH the whole of Paris could do with raising... it's a cesspit of crime...

It's sad & uncalled for when people use anything as an excuse to start causing problems. Especially when it comes to the destruction of other people's property, safety & lively hood who had nothing to do with it.
Any excuse to riot. Some of them are professional. Some just for the fun of it. Also, a good excuse to loot.

Paris riots: Suburban mayor's wife hurt as rioters attack their home

Attackers in France tried to set fire to the home of a suburban Paris mayor's home overnight and fired rockets at the official's fleeing wife and children.

The incident has caused widespread shock and is being treated as attempted murder. Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne described it as intolerable.

Mayor Vincent Jeanbrun was not at home, but his wife suffered a broken leg and a child was also hurt.

This seems more than a bunch teenage mobs mad that one of their own was shot by police. Who is trying to exploit this situation?

President Macron did not help matters when he immediately condemned the police for the shooting without a trial or full investigation because the unedited videos show a non compliant suspect with a car as a weapon.

Have the French got a collective screw loose? This is ridiculous as even the boy's grandmother is saying so.

I would get the army onto the streets, impose curfews, take strong control to protect the ordinary citizens who must be terrified.

Elton John...what a party. He was able to party but he cancelled his yearly meeting with Germany because of the riots. He even missed his chance to see his new comrade they just elected. ( He must have a thing for Elton. )

Thanks @Lilac for that excellent summary video. I'm rather ignorant of European politics so that video was a useful read. My father's ancestors are French Canadian while my mother's are Polish-Lithuanian-Russian. As I've sometimes posted, am not a fan of rapid Globalization pushed by Ivy League elites, Wall Street, and their army of politicians and news media puppets. Also not a fan of worldwide excessive immigration and ethnic diversification that globalization advocates push because doing such in such a short period grates against a long history of well embedded human tribalization that instead should be accomplished at a slower more controllable rate. The fact issues from excessive immigration arise across the globe in different cultures reflects how there really isn't much credibility over those that argue otherwise.

Instead, thrusting large ethnic groups of dissimilar people today into much larger mainstream majorities often results in issues. That such happens is just common sense for a long list of reasons. It has been pushed so for the economic benefit of many corporations without much regard for centuries of differences and conflicts between cultures and societies including religions and political systems. Those are the same USA societal groups that allowed the rise of large corporations in 1980s to dismantle and destroy many smaller long time regional businesses of the 1950/60s/70s, especially in retail.
