Franklin, Massachusetts 1930s in color

Once again, we find ourselves watching a film around 90 years old. Once again, we are watching people who have been dead for years. All the little children who were swimming that day, have been dead for years. Yet, through the magic of film, they are alive again, and in the early stages of their lives. I have always thought that film and cameras, were one of the greatest inventions of all time. Because of those inventions, we can always look upon the faces of loved ones that have past on. In some cases, even hear their voices.

I always think exactly the same as you... probaby one of the reasons I take photos all the time myself...
