Fraudulent Advertising

So....I saw the TV ad about the new "Ninja Foodie Never Stick Fry Pan."
"Oven safe to 500 degrees, sears like cast iron, even cooking, never sticks, etc. I saw it on sale & decided to try it.
The package says "Never Stick, Lifetime Guarantee." Below that, in small print it says, "When used as directed, lifetime based on 5 years of use."
They shouldn't be allowed to get away with that. I don't like being lied to, so I'm thinking of returning it.

People should be quite skeptical about any of this "as seen on TV" stuff. We bought one of these "copper" frying pans....Gotham Steel, I think....3 or 4 years ago, at a Target store. Food stuck to it just about the same as any other pan. Reading the instructions, in detail, showed that the ONLY way this thing would work as advertised was if it was "seasoned" much the same as a cast iron skillet....however, that little detail was well concealed in the very fine print.

Most that crap that is advertised on TV....for $19.95...is probably worth half that amount, at best.
