Free Movies On YouTube!

@dilettante's post of Night Strangler, free on YT, got me wondering what other free movies they have. I knew one is Day After Tomorrow, a disaster movie I've seen twice. So I took a look. They have a surprising array of free movies. I even found Meet John Doe (Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck), one of my favorite old movies that I was telling my BFF about a couple of days ago. I told her if she ever sees it's playing on cable, it would be worth it to check it out.

I sent her the link for the movie as well as the link below with the list of freebies. I like that descriptions for each are given. As a financial analyst once said..."Free is Good!" I hope you find some enjoyable films.

Yes, with a little rummaging around you can find a lot of old movies and TV series on YouTube. YouTube themselves offer some things free with ads too.

I like finding things there that don't have a broad market, since they'll probably never be offered by the big guys. Example:

The story here is how a group of people respond to a high-pressure scenario, in this case an impending nuclear attack. It's all one night and doesn't wander off into post-nuclear survival, etc.

Not many of these Cold War relics from the 1950s and 1960s are still around.

I watch movies on YT often. Probably more than from Amazon Video. I look for movies by searching for certain actors or actresses. All their movies will come up.

Seeing this inspired me to search for a movie I had forgotten about and found it on YT.
