I had to look it up, Giant Pandas eat bamboo almost exclusively.You can plant one in my yard if you throw in a cuddly li'l panda.@Lawrence00
At our local botanical garden they built cement walls several feet deep to prevent the bamboo from propagating aggressively. It is an amazing renewable resource.
