Me too. I lied to school kids because I caught enough flack because I wore glasses. However I loved it as an adult, I maintained the party came to my house (trick or treaters), and I loved seeing the little ones in costume. We had to stop having Halloween a couple of years ago when we were just too old and infirm.

Now that our son is here to help us we might be able to have it again.
 

I am superstitious; for a long time I simply wouldn't leave home on any Friday 13. But I am going out later today. Didn't want to cancel my plans for a superstition.

When I was a kid my mother rented a room at a bowling alley for my birthday and had all my elementary school friends attend in costume. It felt so special!
