Friend is dying from terminal cancer.

Sorry to hear about your friend Robert , it appears stomach cancer is one of those that can creep up without anyone noticing to much.

Sadly we recently lost a friend to the same thing she went to the dr about her worsening reflux
3 months latter she was gone .

Friend is 81 years old. He has stomach cancer that spread all over his body and he is in hospice right now. :(

Very sorry to hear about your friend Robert. I have had a couple of cancer deaths in my close family, it's always painful and when they pass it seems like a blessing for them. Hoping your friend is getting the best of care and is being relieved from his pain.

That is really sad Robert.

I am sorry that you are very upset, but that
is human nature, friends and family are all
we have.

Mike.

He's been my friend for over 35 years and he will be missed very much.

I understand. I've lost two old neighbors, close friends, in the past 5 years...one to liver cancer, and the other to diabetes. I, and a couple of the other neighbors helped them with house maintenance, and took them to doctor visits, etc. It was hard watching them go, but they went to a far better place than where they were. I try to remember the good times.

He's still alive and in hospice care.

What is the treatment with hospice care? His family said he can't talk.

My husband had hospice care before he passed away. They came in weekly and checked his vitals, made sure he was supplied with pain medications and tried to keep him as comfortable as possible. But, with colon cancer, it wasn't always possible without making him sleep all the time. They also kept him supplied with any kind of medical supplies that was needed. I can't remember right now if they came once a week or several times a week but I do know it was weekly. They also told me if I needed them to call and that they would be right there. There were times I did that and they came immediately. They were a big help to me.
