Friend will not patronize any local businesses

I always shop at local Mom and Pop places, and a locally-owned grocery store.

Hubby has a thriving computer business because of local folks.

I used to work at Walmart in customer service and saw how stuff works ... I am better off with the locals. I am having a blast!

But everyone has a choice, we live with our choices of course.

That's just life.

I can say I am much happier with new job and not having to deal with large corporations.

Warri I forget to mention I bought my iPad and my IPhone from Costco as well cheaper then I could get them from Apple shop
so it’s not just a food shop to us .. if you have to return something for some reason there is no questions asked ..they keep a record of everything you buy and if you have lost your receipt it doesn’t matter because they look it up .

I’m sure other supermarkets that have loyality cards like flybuys do the same.

I buy office supplies and printer ink at Costco. I've also bought way too many cookbooks there.

I am a long-time member of Costco. I shop there once or twice a month, mostly for food but for other items also. Their food is generally of excellent quality, much better than you can get at the regular markets for the most part. I especially like their grapefruit and steak. Their milk is super-fresh, and although you have to buy it in gallon-size bottles, it lasts for a month without going bad. Their salmon is very good also. And lots of other stuff.

We have a great Sam's that I shop at even though its just me. Their meat is great and I like the frozen appetizers I can buy and use for a quick dinner or lunch. Also have a sam's reward credit card and got a 14.00 check this week to spend at sam's. so will pick up a few things I use a lot of at a good price.
