Frugality

Linda, you have to do what feels comfortable for you when you go out to eat. When I go out I'm comfortable splitting the bill with a man, paying the whole bill, taking turns paying whatever, I doubt if anyone is looking or even cares. Women have been liberated for quite some time and don't need to rely on the man to pay their way, in exchange for our 'services'. We have good jobs, money, we can raise our kids alone, make our own decisions and think for ourselves. A man is someone to share our time and life with, not our 'daddy'. To me that is what it means to be liberated and a real feminist. I'm not waiting for a man to pay the restaurant bill or my rent, but if he shows himself to be cheap, it indicates to me that he will be cheap in everything else.
